Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered an agreement to acquire Denver based company, Two Roads Hospitality. Two Roads is an international lifestyle-hotel management company and will expand Hyatt's vast portfolio.

The $480 million deal will allow Hyatt to expand its strong brand presence into 23 new market segments. It will also allow Hyatt to strengthen itself in its current markets as Two Roads has 85 properties which consist of established brands and management agreements.

Two Roads global footprint and development model made this acquisition an attractive buy for the Hyatt Hotels Corporation. President and CEO of Hyatt, Mark Hoplamazian, stated "Two Roads’ passionate team members, strong brands, global footprint and robust development pipeline will expand our lifestyle offerings and grow Hyatt’s brand presence in more places where our guests and World-of-Hyatt members want to travel". (Hotelier 2018).

The deal is expected to be completed before the end of 2018. With the completion of the deal, Hyatt will look to further expand and develop their lifestyle portfolio through Two Roads.
